Renee K. Smith

Renee K. Smith is a strategist who believes that everyone can manifest their dreams by creating a strategy that encompasses the right people at the right time.  Her tenure as a nonprofit leader, thought partner and manager has led her to  develop systems to increase transparency, accessibility and efficiency using technology and the passion of an organization’s human resources. With 20 years of non-profit experience included working in all departments programs, finance, development, human resource, communications and operations. This gives her a unique view-point for designing strategic plans and coaching organizations in the detailed steps to achieving their goals.  As a youth development worker, Renee’s impact on the community has afforded her the gift of assisting and watching multiple generations within families in Brooklyn thrive.    As an artist and entrepreneur, she has traveled, performed and presented around the world in countries including Prague, Italy, London, France, Cuba, Brazil, Guinea, Senegal, Ghana, Benin, Jamaica to name a few. As a wellness practitioner in flower essence therapy and reiki, she is the founder of Akika Flower Essence & Apothecary, a wellness practice that uses the power of plant intelligence through flower essences and herbal infused products, cultivated to assist with the healing and transformation on one’s soul journey. Renee is a Brooklyn native, mother, artist, alchemist, herbalist, strategist, cultural arts curator, author, flower essence practitioner, entrepreneur, SRJ advocate and community member.
